Biography
Ahmed-i Hani was born in 1650-51 in the Han Village of Cukurca district of Hakkari. His father's name is Sheikh Ilyas and his mother's name is Gulnigar. He is known as Ahmed-i Hani (Ehmede Xanî, Ahmed of Hani) because he is from the Hani tribe, a branch of the Pinyanisi Tribe, and was born in the Han village.
